DAY 7 BARCELONA, SPAIN With a full 12 hours to look forward to you’ve got plenty of time to enjoy everything this exciting city has to offer. Stroll along Las Ramblas, where street vendors and performers vie for your attention. Visit the old town, famed for its historical monuments and Bohemian atmosphere. Or take a trip to Sitges, one of the best beach resorts in Spain. DAY 8 CRUISING |
DAY 9 FLORENCE, ITALY Florence’s compact historic area makes it perfect for a leisurely stroll to discover its famous landmarks, from the Duomo Di Santa Maria del Fiore to the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi gallery. And no visit would be complete without a stop at the Galleria dell’Accademia, to view Michelangelo’s David. |

DAY 10 ROME, ITALY Admire the largest art collection in the world, at the Vatican Museum. Explore the Colosseum and the Forum. Then toss a coin in the famous Trevi Fountain - to ensure that you’ll always return to Rome. DAY 11 NAPLES, ITALY Castles guard the entry to Naples, and arrival in the harbour is a sight not to be missed. Visit the ancient city of Pompeii. Take a stroll through the quaint streets of nearby Sorrento. Or hop across to the Isle of Capri to take in the breathtaking views from the mountain top. |
DAY 12 CAGLIARI, SARDINIA, ITALY Sardinia’s capital is a bewitching blend of modern urbanity and medieval mystique. Between the harbour and castle lies Cagliari’s marina, a vibrant district of restaurants and trattorias. Not to be missed is Cagliari’s fish market, an unforgettable feast for the senses. |
